Malam Jabba is the largest and the finest ski resort in Pakistan. Every year, thousands of skiers visit these resorts. Recently, Samson Group owned the Malam Jabba Ski Resort, which has an 800-meter ski slope and a height of 9200 feet above sea level. A few years ago, during the Taliban occupied Swat, some militants destroyed it. But now Swat Valley is a safe, free region for visitors, and the resort has been rebuilt to its former beauty.

How is the road from Islamabad to Malam Jabba?
Travelling to Swat Malam Jabba became very comfortable and scenic after the construction of the Swat Motorway. The distance between Malam Jabba and Islamabad is 314 km. So how can you get there? It depends on the mode of transportation you use.
If you drive your car there via the newly built Swat Motorway is always open. The people from Islamabad can also travel through Islamabad-Peshawar Road to Malam Jabba. The Kernal Sher Khan Interchange connects the Swat Motorway and the Islamabad-Peshawar highway.

Chair Lift Riding:
The road is bumpy, so you should hire a local car to get there. I saw a lot of Toyota Fielder cars in the town I don’t know why. During our visit to Malam Jabba, I take a cable car ride. The tickets cost PKR 1500 each.
When you get off the cable car, only canteens and hiking tracks are on the top of the mountain. The view was incredible from the top with the clouds lower than you. Hiking on the hills is also quite rewarding. The temperature was slightly cooler in July.
