Itinerary of 6 Days Skardu Shangrila Deosai by Air Family Package
guests from Skardu Airport and head to Shangrilla Resort at Lower Kachura Lake. Enjoy sightseeing and take photos. Visit Upper Kachura Lake and have fun boating there. Then, drive to the hotel for an overnight stay in Skardu.
Travel to the hotel and then head to Deosai Plains, the second largest plateau in the world. Make a stop at Sheosar Lake and relax there. Explore Deosai National Park and look for wildlife in the wide-open plains. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Skardu.
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before heading to Shigar. Make a stop at the Cold Desert and see Manthoka Waterfall. Once you arrive, explore Shigar Fort, a lovely restored fort from the 17th century. Also, visit Ambrique Mosque, one of the oldest mosques. In the evening, drive back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Skardu.
After breakfast and drive to Khaplu. Make stops at the meeting point of the Shyok and Indus Rivers for sightseeing and photos. Visit the 19th Century Khaplu Fort and explore its historical significance. Check out the Chaqchan Mosque, which is 600 years old. Afterward, drive back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Skardu.
