Pakistan tours by destination and length
Most visitors plan around one region rather than the whole country. The northern valleys take the longest: Hunza and Skardu each need about a week, and many travellers join them in a single Hunza and Skardu tour. Swat, Naran and Kashmir fit into three to seven days, Chitral is best timed around a Kalash festival, and the cities work as short tours before or after a mountain trip.

Questions travellers ask before booking
How many days do I need for a trip to Pakistan?
It depends on the region. One or two days is enough for a city or heritage visit such as Lahore or Bahawalpur. Swat, Naran and Azad Kashmir work well in three to seven days. Hunza and Skardu need a week or more, and together they run from about seven to twelve days. The bars above show the shortest and longest tours we currently list for each destination.
Do I need a visa to visit Pakistan?
Most visitors need a visa. The rules depend on your nationality and change from time to time, so check the official Pakistan online visa portal before you apply. Once you book with us, we send an official support letter to include with your application.
Is it safe to travel in Pakistan?
Conditions differ by region and can change. We do not run tours in areas where foreign travellers are currently not permitted, such as Balochistan. Our tours follow established tourist routes with a local guide and private transport, and we change the route if road, weather or security conditions require it. Please also read your own government's travel advice before you book.
When is the best time to visit?
The northern valleys, including Hunza, Skardu, Swat, Naran and Fairy Meadows, are mostly open from spring to autumn, roughly April to October. Lahore and the other cities are more comfortable from October to March. The Kalash festivals follow the seasons: Chilam Joshi in spring, Uchal in summer and Choimus in winter. Ask us for the current dates.
Are your tours private or group tours?
Our tours run as private departures for your own party, with your own guide and vehicle, and every itinerary can be adjusted to your dates and interests. If you would rather travel with others, ask us whether a group departure is planned for your dates.
Will I have an English-speaking guide?
Yes. You travel with a local guide who speaks English, and our support team answers your questions in English before and during the trip.
Can you build a custom itinerary?
Yes. Tell us your dates, group size and interests and we will adjust any tour or plan a new route for you. Message us on WhatsApp or use the contact page.
Tell us when you want to go
Send your dates and the places you have in mind. We will reply with a suggested route and a price.
